While cognitive and learning impairments seems to be on the rise in this age, vision and speech impairment are still holding on to making the lives of people with disabilities difficult. However the advent of Assistive Technology (AT) has come close to presenting solutions to solving a majority of their challenges and when pursued properly almost offered an opportunity to make individuals with cognitive, learning, vision and speech impairments become part of mainstream society and to leading undiminished lifestyles.

HHF aims to provide AT solutions to 20 individuals with cognitive, learning, vision and speech impairments. As part of the AT solutions, the individuals will be provided with AT software and a set of applications on a laptop or PC that meet their need along with training and support.

HHF hopes that this segment of people with disabilities in India will greatly benefit from this program, AT solutions are new and emerging in the advanced countries and is not as common or readily available in India.
